SEDLARI MOMCHILGRAD

The photos above are of the archaeological site that was found at Sedlari in Momchilgrad southern Bulgaria, they have now been covered up for all time underneath the new road from Kardzhali throo to Podkova and onto Makaza pass in Greece.

Archaeological dig site at Sedlari Momchilgrad is now officially covered over in readiness for tons of asphalt for the new road from Kardzhali (Kardjali) to Podkovo for the Makaza pass by Kirkovo in southern Bulgaria.

I have many more photos of this discovered and recovered up archaeological site. Howevers, they won't all fit in this photo show for you, I will be placing them on a site soon.

These are rare photos taken at the Sedlari archeology dig site in southern Bulgaria, the Sedlari historic site has now been covered in again with mud and bricks in order to make way for the preparations of the new super highway that will lead from northern Bulgaria Ruse down to Kirkovo and Podkova for the Makaza border pass in Southern Bulgaria.

This ancient site of great importance has now, once again, been lost in time, covered up by the fast growing pace of progress!

I took many photos of Seldari site while I was there, these are but a few of the photos for your enjoyment.

Many historic archaeological dig sites are currently being uncovered and with the help of local investment and EU grants, these archaeological sites are being carefully prepared for viewing by tourists

New ancient Archaeological digs site in Bulgaria uncovered Sedlari near Momchilgrad archaeological dig on the new road to Makaza Teams of archaeologists have uncovered a large Bronze age archaeological site in Bulgaria.
New ancient Archaeological digs site in Bulgaria uncovered Sedlari near Momchilgrad archaeological dig on the new road to Makaza The archaeologists are working fast before this site is once again covered, this time by a highway! I took some time out to visit this large archaeological site and take photos, before once again, it is lost in time!

The Bronze age settlement is located spread over 5 deka and so far, only a small amount has been excavated. The settlement has shown finds to originate from many different time periods, mainly Bronze age. This archaeological dig site is close to another dig site, which I will be visiting in the near future.

On my forum the diary of my life in Bulgaria living and renovating my farm houses buying the houses and how I have found life to be with the costs of living in Bulgaria, waiting for the Makaza Pass border road to open, promised since August 2007 to be open, it is now 2012 and still no sign of this southern border pass being open Zlatograd the Bulgarian border road is open into Xanthi the Kirkovo Kardjali border pass will soon be open. Living near this border road into northern greece prices of properties are rising fast as property in Xanthi Thermes and Komotini cost far more than buying a property direct from local seller in Bulgaria making Greece a short hop away from the Aegean seaside although finding a property for long term or short term rent is neigh on impossible. News on the Kirkovo to Komotini Makaza pass will be posted on my forum for expats wishing to live long term on the Bulgarian side of the border in beautiful untouched Bulgaria and want to buy direct off current owner seller. Can you live long term in Bulgaria without vias the question of need of visa arises even from British expats, if from outside Europe you will obviously need a visa, but no visa is required from Europeans to live long term in Bulgaria, here I will discuss the visa and how to live here long term and what you must do in order to live in Bulgaria long term and what you need to do to buy a house and what documents you need to own your Bulgarian properties
